Network Guardian is an intelligent web content filter that protects organizations from undesirable web sites as well as hidden and malicious online content. Dynamic Content Analysis™ technology is used to screen the actual content and construction of web pages, so that objectionable content (including anonymous proxies and other hidden or malicious material) can be accurately identified and blocked. As a self contained software appliance, including its own security hardened operating system, it works with any firewall or Internet gateway and can integrate with existing user authentication systems to facilitate policy based filtering.

Web security and content filtering module for SmoothWall Corporate Firewall and Advanced Firewall UTM. Dynamic Content Analysis™technology is used to screen the actual content and construction of web pages, so that objectionable content (including anonymous proxies and other hidden or malicious material) can be accurately identified and blocked. Supports the user authentication capabilities of Advanced Firewall to set filtering policies according to user group membership or the local user authentication database of Corporate Firewall.

The firewall capabilities of Corporate Firewall protect systems from external attackers and control user access to Internet services such as instant messaging and peer to peer (P2P) file sharing networks. School Guardian is only available to educational institutions.
