Psychology and security

Tuesday 27th October 2009

Professor Ross Anderson of the Computing Laboratory at Cambridge University has put together an excellent web page on psychology and security. The page contains links to a wide range of on-line resources on the topic, and is likely to be of interest to a wide range of security professionals.

While it's very easy to get hung up on the technological aspects of computer security, a lot of common vulnerabilities are at least partly psychological. Unfortunately patching human beings is an as-yet unsolved problem.
